Default Where is the oil return go on an OFI kit?

Fixing to get some stuff piped in on my kit today. Going by the fittings supplied with the kit it looks like either the timing cover or front of the pan is where it's supposed to go. Where is everyone putting theirs?

this would be on an LS1. It looks like it's gonna be pretty tight...does it go to the first little step on the front or down into the main pan area? I don't have my turbo yet so I'm just judging by the length of the line.

Joel said it goes in front of the oil pan.

I ended up going to the passenger side of pan as I didn't have room in front, probably because I'm using a Moroso pan and 12 AN fiitings. Here's a couple Pics how I did mine:

I just check my pan and I don't think it'll go in the very front of the pan. There's enough room to drill/tap but not enough clearance for the fittings to spin.

I know its extra work, but you can always buy some new line and make it go to the side of the pan. I don't have an ofi kit but when I held my -10 AN fitting up to my stock pan I taught the same as theblur98ss; no room to turn it.

On LT1's you mount it near the top right corner. Just like the Vortech instructions portray for their LT1 setups.

Of course, the location of the turbo plays a role in this since it's a gravity return. This particular setup works great for me since my single T76 is pretty close to the Vortech designs setup.

Did anyone take it to the front of the pan? I'm going to drill somewhere tomorrow and the front is looking really tight.
