Default Who is running ls7 mls head gasket on their afr 225 72cc heads?

Need to pick some head gaskets right away. Its either cometic or the ls7 mls ones. Part number which I assume is correct is 12582179.Anyone running these on their afr and how are they working out? Still worried if go cometic will have to do more block or head prep. Should I copper spray the ls7 gaskets ??

Very interested too!!! Mine are already installed, but haven't started yet. I don't remember anything being out of whack.

Ok red 6.0 iron or something else? The question now is will the ls7 head gaskets work on 6.0 iron engines with the afr 225s since read one guy say the coolant passages didn't match up?

ive got 6.0 iron block and 225cc afrs. i have not run it yet, but the coolant passages all looked the same. some one else chime in if they are different

i havent heard of the cooling passages not lining up. if that was the case the heads would be different also and wouldnt be able to interchange.

I'm all freaked out now! But I don't recall seeing any differences. But now I am second guessing. Anyone else have any first hand experience with this? Kurt @ W2W???

i dont think it is higher. i think it looks higher because of the bigger bore in the ls7 gasket.

if you look real close to the odd shaped water holes on the end of the gasket you will notice a slightly different shape. but they will be fine.
