I would think cause the 6.0 manifolds point in a good direction to use them on f bodies. they dont hit the motor mounts or anything.

with the stock ones you have to fab up more Tubeing to get to the turbo. the Pham speed kit used the stock manifolds for a while but they had pipes under the k- member

i'll take some pix of mine in a while to give you an idea, you do have to make alot more piping to run the pipe forward again but you keep all of your accessories in the same spot, it i was going to do it again i would have gotten truck manifolds and used the stock on passenger side and a forward on the driver side, Y them together on the driver side, put the turbo were the normal kits are at (near water pump crank pully area) and run my DP on my passenger side... of course all of this with the BMR K member..... in all honesty it would be a faster way than the way i'm going! oh yeah and relocate the alt to the top side of engine

if pointing the manifolds foward, the truck manifolds clear the steering shaft better then the stock ones, the stock ones will work with a little bit of clearancing.
the truck ones come out better and get things pointed in a better direction, mostly with on the driver side because of the steering shaft.
