Default Blowing oil out rear main

Help!!!

See sig for build.

After build forgot to modify pcv and after a few good boosts blew oil out rear main.

Replaced rear main, reconfigured pcv to both valve covers y-d together to a catchcan. Catchcan to inlet hat on blower.

Worked fine for weeks.

Hose came off inlet hat and I didn't notice it right away. Now have quite a leak out rear main again. UGH!!!!

What am I doing wrong? There is no oil residue out exhaust so i'm thinking there's nothing wrong with the pistons or rings.

Thanks.

If you Y the lines together, you make them one line in the flow ability. Run each line seperate to the catch can and increase the line size if possible.

But honestly how much flow do I need to the catchcan. Is there really going to be that much pressure and if there is then i'd think there's a problem. Am I mistaken?

Thanks.

I thought there is supposed to be some vacuum in the crankcase to keep the fumes out? I'm confused on all this pcv crap tho. If a breather on each valve cover solved it that's what i'll do. Wont that puke oil on the motor tho?

THanks.

Your breathers ability to flow air should increase as much as the HP. If you double the HP of the stock engine, you should double the breathers ability for a nice safe set-up.

That makes sense. So deleting the Y, running 2 catchcans, then where to go with those....

A breather on each valve cover works on mine with 12lbs of boost.

I put breathers on each line coming form the rear of the valve covers and on the front passenger line I run to catch can and then into the intake. I got tired of oil spraying all under my car due to the sloppy design on the inlet hat. Granted that was before I added a catch can so it probably wouldn't be as bad now.

dont forget the newly revised oil seal goes in "backwards" compared to the older/original one...it says it on a piece of paper in the seal packaging....just a thought

Thanks I did catch that. The new design even comes with a centering / installation tool. I did look at the seal closely and it is marked which side goes out.
