Getting ready to do my intake piping and I was curious if I can put the meth nozzle too far from the IAT sensor. The spot I have in mind would be apx 2 feet down the intake pipe. It would let me do a neater install and keep the meth stuff hidden better.

as long as its after your BOV , and before your IAT sensor it should be ok .

My BOV is only a few inches from my TB. My IAT is in between the 2 of them but that doesn't leave much room for my meth nozzle.

Put the IAT in the intake to get the most accurate read possible. Put the alky nozzle up toward the tb...

Theblur, 2 feet will be fine....sounds like mine...its down on the intake pipe at the fuse box area.....wont hurt the BOV if its after it either...my friends is like that and he has had no probs

If you use much meth at all, and especially if you are an M6 and blow off at every gear change, it will get to burning your eyes in the car. Also, in this configuration it will be after the MAF if there is one (the BOV I mean), and between having residual meth in the intake and intake tract and blowing off all of that high-boost air that the MAF already metered, you get a mad fat spot. None of this should really hurt anything, but they both are annoying.
