Default F1A or F1C for 427 LS7 F Body

This is going in a 98 6spd street car. I want to run 14-16psi but I got to see what the PCM will let me run?just found out that this is a problem.sucks I will be using a EPP FMIC. Will there be any power diff? Which one will make more low end power and more top end. Will there be any diff in the instalation between the 2? Both will be running 14-16psi. I have the TEA/TFS 235 heads will effect what boost it is.I heard better heads make lower boost and shifty heads read higher psi running same set up but just change heads

Above 14.7 PSI and you need a 3 bar SD, and 98's won't allow for a 3 Bar.

The F-1A will more than likely be maxed out at 16 psi with your combination, and may make the iat's a little hotter than the F-1C will, but the F-1A is a simple install. The F-1C is .75 larger in diameter and will require reworking the bracket assembly to get it to work without having belt slippage. Bob

I thought the bracket would fit the f1c. What would I have to do to make it fit?

F1A will work fine, the belt drive is the biggest concern. You can "max out" the map on a SD tune with a 2 bar.

The ProCharger bracket works just fine with the F-1A, although we check belt tension after every run with my car at 18 to 20 psi. With the F-1C I would swap over to a steel bracket assembly and add a brace to the bracket to keep flex down. I would also add an extra idler pulley to the combination to aid in belt wrap. Bob
