Default Just curious...What kind of times are the APS TT cars running?

Been a while since I came thru here, when I left and sold my car APS was selling kits like hot cakes. It looked to be a nice well engineered solid turbo kit.

Supposedly the kit was 1000 hp capable.

With that being said what kind of power are ya'll making with max boost and most importantly what times are you running?

As for me, I had to get out of the game, this hobby got a little too expensive for me, but I still have and always will have the bug for me for having a fast car.

I'm riding sportbikes now, and man are they fun! But I wouldn't mind building another car that would top my old car.

Thanks all, hope to see some really fast LSX cars this season break new world records while keeping the heads down LOL.

Do some searching and you will find some more info. JMS car is in the 9s at near 140mph at like 12psi. We have not seen too many guys running much past 12psi mabye do to the air ducts collapsing problem. Jury is still out how much power you can get past 12psi or so on a 402 or 408. Jms car is a 402. Mine is a 408 but still be awhile before its together and not sure will be dynoing or racing it this season. Aps was supposedly working on some upgrade ducts for the stock kit and has their upgrade kit available for bigger engines.

The kits seem to perform good.

I have ran low 10s with 8-9 pounds of boost. But it will not make more boost at all. when i turn it up it starts out at around 12 but quickly falls off to around 5-6 pounds I am pretty sure my intakes are collapsing
