Default best block and cid to turbo

well i have a full forged 347 right now .. gonna run about 300 shot on it

but im looking to get back into the turbo game ..

looking for serious overkill rwhp .. around 1500rwhp

whats the best block to run ? CID ? looking for 7k rpm ..
will be running a bb GT45r
and alot of boost

what kind of internals will be up to the task ?
will a sleved ls2 block handle the boost ?
iron or aluminum bigger cube or smaller with more rpm ?

i have a lot of questions and i need answers !

LSX block at 402 to 418 c.i. with Twin's!

GT45r wont make 1500rwhp. two probably would tho.

We build hi boost big n2o engines all the time, I'd be gad to work something up for you.
Cost wise and iron block is less money than sleeving a 402. A 434 LSX will get you where you want to be.

GM Bowtie LSX 434 with Callies crank and rods, Wiseco pistons with GFX rings. Federal Mogul and ACL coated bearings.

$6234 plus freight

This is intended for big HP FI applications.

Agree. A GT45R is done at 800-900rwhp on a motor that size. You'll need alot more turbo to reach those #'s.

i dont see it happening without a built car and 25k for engine/turbo/ems

is the built car and at least that funding all ready checked off your 'get' list?

hate to see you get waist deep in the project and get stuck.

As stated above a 1500 rwhp turbo setup is going to take a ton of coin. Nasty Performance seems to have speced you out a nice motor. Your going to a 400+ CI engine (preferably an iron block as it will be stronger than the aluminum and less chance for distortion), either large twins or a Thumper turbo from Dr Turbo (probably 100MM+ range would be my guess), id assume a new fuel system and ECU such as BS3 or equivalent, powerglide/TH400, built 9 inch rear or equivalent to hold the power, suspension, etc. You may already have many of these components as your about to spray a 300 shot on a forged 347 so if you do then props as it shouldnt be too difficult to get the engine and FI setup to meet your goals. BTW any reason for 1500 rwhp as opposed to say 800-1000 rwhp?
