Default Opinions on my set-up please

I'm new to the world of FI and recently traded some NA parts for a STS set-up. Here's what we're looking at: STS with GT67 upgrade, FMIC, meth., Racetronix pump w/ MSD BAP, 42# injectors, stock crank, SCAT I-beam rods
(6.100" c to c w/ .944" pins and 7/16" ARP bolts), Speed-Pro forged pistons
(3.906" flat tops w/ 2 vr), Sealed Power moly rings, Clevite rod and main bearings, Dura-bond cam bearings, MMS 229/229 .578"/.578" 114 cam, stock 317 heads w/ PRC springs/titanium retainers, Crane adjustable "Quick Lift" rockers (1.7:1) w/ matching pushrods and guideplates, Cloyes timing set, LS6 oil pump and intake and stock manifolds w/ gutted cats, backed by a CK Performance 4L80E w/ a PTC 2800 stall, Denny's nitrous driveshaft, Strange 12 bolt w/ Eaton posi, 3.42's and 33 spline axles. All this in a 2001 Z-28 that weighed 3675 lbs. with me in it before the 12 bolt, 4L80E, 5 point chromoly roll bar and turbo system. It's probably around 3900 now I would imagine. What do you guys (and girls) think? Any guesses on hp #'s or et's? Thanks!

Depends how much boost you run. I made 453/432 w/ the same heads and similiar (slightly more aggressive) cam on only 5 PSI and a conservative 11.1 to 0 AFR tune. With forged rods/ARP bolts you could run 10lbs+ boost safely (provided the tune's good.) Each lb of boost is good for approx 22HP.....so 600RWHP isn't out of the question.

You need to address heat retention/exhaust gas velocity to keep the turbo happy. Heat wrap the exhaust from the Y-pipe back. Stock manifolds are also advantageous in the STS setup for the same reason (though I always ran coated LT's.....)

Thanks for the input! I was gonna keep the bottom end stock and limit the boost, but I know myself and keeping it at 5 lbs. just won't happen! Lol! To be safe I ordered the pistons and rods and coupled with the compression reduction of the 317's and the FMIC w/ meth, I won't have to worry as much. I'd be very happy with 500 rwhp at around 10-12 lbs. of boost. We'll see! I'll get pics up as soon as I have all of the parts.

Like Schantin said it all depends on how much boost you run. Your setup sounds great!
