Default Dyno #'s for my STS set up

Hey I just had my car dyno'd on a autodyne Super flow dyno It made 335 whp and 323 wtq. I am told these # would be closer to 500 on a dynojet. I have no Idea if this is true or not. According to the guy the C6 Z06's make under 300 on this dyno.I think he should recalibrate it hey.... I am running the gt 67 turbo and ati twin intercoolers.
Just wondering if this is ture? I hope to get out to the track in the next week or so. It ran 14.2 in stock form. I am hoping for low 13's next time out.
The DA here is usually around 5300feet.

Mustang dyno and super flow dyno always give little less power BUT NOT THAT MUCH.

Maybe someone with more experience will help.

Even if the pipes weren't wrapped or anything extra, it would still make way more power, especially with the 67. If you have a stall converter, that could be the culprit or maybe your tranny is slipping or there is a boost leak from a weld. The BOV could be sticking open all the time. There could be a number of things. How many PSI are you running and what type of fuel system?

Screw dyno numbers anyway. Get a good tune, and go to the track and get your bragging numbers there. That is the sure fire way to tell if something is definitley wrong...

I dont think there is anything wrong with his setup. He said a c6z06 did like 300whp. So if that was a stock z06 id add another 150whp to you number and then tell people that.
But ya dyno numbers dont mean much, ive ran faster on less whp.

My car made about 370rwhp on a superflow with a cam, headers, and a stall converter. You might have other issues. Track times will be able to help and see if it was the dyno or not. I ran a 12.5 with the above on street tires with a 1.8 60ft.

C5 Z06 here (C5 = C6-100hp) and clocked 372rwhp BONE STOCK.. including stock aircleaner. With 5 lbs boost it 525 and next week will be re-tuned with meth and should be 550-560.
Those numbers of yours are waaaaay off.

I am running 255lph fuel pump, racetronix 42's, ls6 intake, stock engine, mac cat delete kit, stock manifolds and a Magnaflow muffler 3" . No wrap on the exhaust. It is a 6 speed car and I don't know id he used 3rd or 4th for the pulls. If some one wants to look at the tune I can send it to u.
I am running 7psi but it does spike to 9 at first I assume because of the long hose and boost controler.

That seems way too low. We need more info on what your running though. Sounds like you put an STS kit on and made close to stock #'s!

I run what's in my sig. and make close to 515-520 on 8-9psi w/ a strong tune.

I like to see how fast my car traps in the 1/4 at a known weight to get a true HP number. Dyno's are ver inaccurate in my experience, they are excellent for tuning though and are extremely repeatable.

It is a ls1. And I know the car is much faster seat of the pants. I think his #'s on the dyno are low, The car ran 14.2 stock at just over 100mph so hopefully next week i can get to the track.

He said in his first post that the DA is usually 5300ft!!! So I'm guessing that is why his numbers are so low as well as the the C6... I dunno Just a thought

I'll bet at 8psi you can get a 12.3-12.4 at your altitude.
