Default well is this true about procharger?

i went to my local performance shop that only sells parts. im looking at some aeromotive fuel regs for my setup and i get to talking with a sales guy there, yada yada yada...... He starts telling me get rid of the procharger and go with paxton or vortech b/c prochargers have ceramic impellers and well fail and blow my motor and procharger wont stand behind there product.
i told him iv never once herd about a procharger doing this and he told me he see's it all the time.

i think hes full of ****!!!!

what do you think? and is this true?

that sounds like a bag o' **** to me.... I know for a fact there are about a 1000 pics of different prochargers on this site, they all like they have aluminum impellers.... other than that my d1 has better than 10000 miles on it and never skipped a beat.

Last i knew ATI still had billet aluminum impellers. There a great bunch over there and they will stand behind there products. Every company has had issues, despite what they are telling you.

He probably doesn't have a good buy in with ProCharger....I've run all 3 and have no complaints with any....however with this being said, the ProCharger will make the most HP depending on your set up and where you buy it....I do suggest buying it from someone that has redesigned the brackets!
Nice rack by the way!

Yeah, but if you frag an impeller on a Procharger, your local Halmark store has Poinsettia xmas tree ornaments in various sizes for everything from the D1 to F3. QUITE handy.

yea get a paxton i hear their impellers are made of hard pressed paper. Or a vortech and run 50 less rwhp with a comparable blower. Better yet ask that ****** about powerdynes. I hear they are great blowers.

Everytime I've ever dealt with the ATI guys they have been more than helpful, and seemed willing to go out of their way to help with whatever I needed. Sounds like it's time to start talking to better people .

And now Vortech offers a self contained blower as well, called the V3... I guess they finally found out it is the way to go. Bob

Let me guess he also just so happens to be a paxton and vortech authorized dealer as well!??? He can also get you a fantastic deal on one if you buy now too!
