Where are you guys mounting the scavenge pumps?
Also, would it be a problem to have the scavenge pump high enough to where the return lines coming off the turbo and going to the pump, be at a too steep of a "up hill" angle for the pump?

I tried to mount mine as low as I could. It is about equal to the height of the turbo right now. 3an feed with no restrictors or check valves and no signs of oil issues after 2000 miles and 30 or so 1/4 mile runs.

I did the bronze geared pump. I think they say it can lift fluids up to 3 or 5 feet.

So do you want the pump low as possible? But yet, you want the pump mounted high enough so that return line coming out of pump to has a "down hill" slop to the oil pan?? right?

This is the end all of Scavenge pumps...

You can have it push uphill, downhill or 5' vertical if you wanted. We have several running on daily driver rear mounts (pushing from the rear to the top of a valve cover) and some on Outlaw 10.5 cars (twin GT55s) and had great luck.

that carter racing pump looks identical to my turbo werx pump. turbo werx is supposedly what the twin turbo ford gt and big turbo cobra guys are using with great results, so i figured i'd give em a try.
