Default Got my midwest Fab 9 in my Turbo TA

Alot of you followed my build. So here is the newest upgrades to the car.
The rear is a fab 9 from eric @ midwest chasis and performance. AMAZING!

If you are in the market for a rear end give him a shot, you will not regret it.

Anyways the rear consits of
Midwest chasis Fab 9
BackBrace
Spool
3.50 gear
35 Spline Axles
Longer 1/2 inch wheel studs
Black Powder Coat
Fill and drain plugs, and some other little goodies.
I also got a new chromoly torque arm, Chromoly rear sway, and new rear suspension.

The car is back on stock ls1 v8 springs, and competition engineering shocks. The car sits much meaner.

And the best part...... The pics.

let me know what you guys think.

Might consider the heater hose mod for the rear...sits a lil too raked out IMO

It wont be so raked out looking with a 15" rim and a properly sized tire. Also when the front suspension gets done it will look alot more even. Remember thats just stock height in the back, and 1" down in the front, its not as crazy as it seems in pics.

Umm i believe what i got everything with a local pickup would be 3250 or so
with the powder coats, options, torque arm, dsl, sway. More shipped of coarse.

Yes. The car has yellow z06 springs, and tsp push rods. Pulls hard all the way to redline.

These rims will hold me over till winter with the new tires. Then hopefully a set of drag rims.

What broke ef said about the suspension. Just a stock ls1 spring in rear, with comp engineering shock. Cant believe thats stock ride height...

Personally though i think it looks kinda mean.

I think larger diameter axle tubes push the spring pads away from the axle centerline making the ride hight a little higher. Still looks good.

I think it looks good. Stock the TA's have a taildragger look to them. This is a lot more aggressive looking.
