Default About bloody time

Another long weekend, and finally a 9sec

Still not impressed, as basically the only reason its doing it, is I was using ET Streets ( 26x11.5x16" )

The car, while it does feel good, has performed better. Its just lost so much over the latter parts of the track compared to how it used to perform.

60ft..........1.55
330ft........4.21
1/8...........6.41 @ 113.83mph
1000ft.......8.23
1/4...........9.85 @ 144.75mph

Also did 2 x 9.99s runs with lower mph. Would have got some more, but the boost pipe kept blowing off the supercharger.

Still pump fuel + 70/30 meth/water

Car ran well all weekend.

At an event on Sunday at an airfield, I ran 181.9mph over a standing kilometer ( 1000m ) on road tyres ( Toyo 888's )
By comparison...best 1/4 at that event was 11.15s !!!!!!! Absolutely no traction at all, either on 888's, or MT DR's

NICE!!!!

Have you tried full meth over the split?

If you have, did it show any improvement?

I used to use 100% meth. Im working my way back towards it though.

The pump Im using is still an old one, so not really meth proof, hence Im keeping some water in there.
TBH, I dont think it will make much odds. Ive already a lot of timing in there, IAT's are good with the meth/water, and I have room to lean out AFR's a fair bit.
EGT's at the weekend were also pretty cold.
Only just home, so need to inspect logs more.

Ive a standing mile event in 2 weeks.......so need to get as much go as possible from it !!!

Time to spin the blower harder I think

That was exactly what I was thinking. We have found anything less than 100% meth puts the flame out under boost.

Nice to see that car in the nine's, not a bad time considering the slow 60 ft time! Bob
