Default Gear/ boost question

I am trying to get everything ironed out before I get dyno tuned. My car has a stock ls1, 223/231 610/617 113lsa with a GTQ67 front mount, T56 and 4.10 gears. My problem is the car doesn't hit 6psi till right at 4000rpm in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. 4th gear at a slower speed hits about 3500rpm, but also hits 8psi. Right now I am running off wastegate spring, is it my gears not loading my motor enough? I am switching back to stock gears, but need to get this thing fixed asap.

You didn't mention what after-turbo exhaust you have.

Oh sorry, it is just dumped straight down right before the steering rack, it is only about 18inches of 3" piping. The system is truck mani's, 2.5 crossover, and 2.5 to 3'' intercooler piping. It just seems like it is blowing through the gear before it can build boost.

3.23 in a six speed car has absolutely SICK mph and loads the car like you wouldnt imagine. DO IT NOW! (no seriously) lol
**im personally going to even try 2.73 in one or two of my cars to see how they help/hurt the performance with a couple different turbo setups...im guessing im gonna love the mph and keep the 2.73 but we will see

I think its part of the problem, but i dont know if its everything thats goin on. I have a bigger turbo and had a 4.10 in the 10 bolt. I would blow through the gears, and not build boost as fast, but i could still build 7-8 psi in 1st and 2nd.

Now that the car has a 3.50 gear it feels so much better. Im amazed how different it feels.

My turbo is a gt4276 with a 1.12 ar.

That turbo should spool super fast typically. Make sure you dont have any pre turbo exhaust leaks and a lower numerical gear should help. Is the car making enough power that it is spinning in the lower gears(I hope so)? Which in turn means even less load.
