Default STS oil feed check valve

What is the purpose of the check valve that STS puts on the oil feed line to the turbo? If you don't use it would it cause the turbo to push oil through the seals?

Its there to do just the opposite actually. When you turn the car off it keeps all the oil in the line going to the back of the car from being able to leak past the seals into the turbo. And it works, you can ask any of us that have had one go bad.

Call me back after you put that check valve in, I'm really curious to see if that solves your oiling issues.
