OFI install pics by popular request
Since posting my thread yesterday
https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-induction/960789-she-s-alive.html
I'm getting tons of pm's asking for pics and such of the install. Here are some pics. I just lowered the car tonite and the downpipe is literally resting on the ground so I'm not sure what to do there yet.

Here is a pic of the car setting on the ground. It's not stock height but I wouldn't call it lowered either. I think it's less then an inch lower then stock. I have 3 1/2" of wheel gap all the way around. The return line doesn't have much slope but there is some. Not sure how much it needs. Oil flows downhill right??

I still need to have a turbo support made also. Yes this is the DP that comes with the 'kit'. I can tweak the clamps/hangers and get a little more clearance but only about an inch I'd say. I could just run the front half of the dp and leave it open but that is a whole other problem. One of the main reasons I went turbo was to get rid of dumps and get the exhaust to exit the car. Anyone else with one of these 4" DP's care to chime in?

My setup also has the 4" downpipe, but that looks really low for ground clearance. However we did do a little massaging to snake my 4" dp around my 4l80 tranny. My setup is 4" to a muffler before the axle then a turndown.I would say get as much clearance as u can .

i have a 4" downpipe with exhaust but i run it on the other side of the car, if you have it on that side , ya its going to hang low, there isnt enough room on that side as you figured out.
most people that run it on that side just have a short section of 4" pipe then a cut out and after the cut out it tapers to 3" for normal "quiet" street use and when it comes race time they open up the cut out.

How many months did it take you to get everything you ordered from OFI? I'm on 8 right now
Hate to hear that you had to modify every thing that he sent you minus a couple of things. Did he refund you any of it?
