S91 402 tuned and running! Boost question
Well I got my car from the tuner(Boost Performance) and the drive ability is great and running strong with 12-14psi
Question
12-14psi is the max boost this thing will see.I have a 17 pound spring in it and the WG never opens. The BOV isnt leaking and there are no exhaust leaks.Ialso took the filter off and even though it does run better with it off no more boost.
Any ideas?I need 18+psi.

its a turbosmart WG. I had two 7psi springs in there and then I put a 10 in there combined with the one of the 7s and the boost did not change.Ive ran the 10+7 combo before on my old setup and it boosted 17+ and I took it right out.
Down Pipe is a 5inch necked to 4 inch oval pipe under there car with a Dr.Gas 4 oval muffler
And yes right now its running of WG only
And have spun it only about 6200 so far.

Use a mighty vac and check to see how much PSI it takes to open the gate, Pressure check for boost leaks, check the boost at the turbocharger then at intake manifold, check the BOV, exhaust leaks Bla bla bla.
make sure your WG spring set-up is not the problem
10# WG spring and a boost controler is the hot set-up

Man I hate issues like this.
I know you said there are no exhaust leaks, go back over all bolts on the hotside, v bands too.
Check the intake manifold, make sure one of the gaskets didn't pop out when you were installing it. I had this happen and it made finding the leak a tough one.
Pressure test the whole IC system from the outlet of the turbo to the TB.
Check the turbo for any FOD that might be lodged in there. Maybe a coupler is sucking shut under boost?
Hope you find it.
