Default which muffler ?

I need to quieten my car down for a standing mile event next weekend.

Currently have dual 3" exhaust, DIY X-pipe, a pair of Moroso Spiral Flow and then into a pair of Magnaflow centre-side straight through stainless mufflers..

Its borderline on their 103db limit, so cant take any chances.

I have 2 pairs of each of these on their way from Summit.....

Which would you use on my setup, in the hope that power isnt affected. Im hoping to achieve 200mph in 1 mile.....but its a BIG hope !!!!
I will only be swapping the rear silencers, the Spiral Flows stay in place. So I should end up well within the noise limits.

One is the Magnaflow turbo range,

the other is the Thrush.

I'll also be swapping pulleys to spin the blower a little faster....

Why ? Its a challenge

I did 190.7mph last year, with a 346 thrown together 3 days before the event, with dodgy valve springs, and weak ignition coils, so basically it would barely rev above 6000rpm.

So given my setup now feels quite good, revs cleanly to over 7000rpm without difficulty.....I am hopeful.

Im swapping my rear diff now, so 200mph should come up around 6700rpm ( I have to use proper road legal E-marked tyres at this event......no DOT tyres. DOT tyres are not legal in the UK. )
When I did the 191mph, it was on 26" DR's with that speed coming up at 6660rpm...but as I said, above 6000rpm the car was crap.

I just looked at your sig & realized this is nothing new for you. I'm starting to scared at my 134 trap speeds, can't imagine how much I'd pucker at 200. Is that 5th or 6th gear?

Look at the new ranking sticky, the top dogs on it are over 180 in the 1/4.

Stevie--Of the two I think I would go with the thrush mufflers. I like the looks of the design alittle better. Did you see the Force mufflers in summit? Looks like a really nice flowing design and only $35 US each.

Price isnt a concern, although Im surprised at how cheap the 2 Ive chosen are. But I do want stainless, because if they work, and dont restrict power I may just leave them on.
It isnt overly loud now, but on long journeys it can get tedious.
Im going to hook one of my collectors up to a pressure transducer to log pressure in the exhaust. Hopefully if the weather picks up here, I can test my current exhaust before switching.

200mph, 6700 rpm, 3.27 rear diff will be 5th gear, on 255/40x17 Toyo 888's

6th is just too tall. When I bought this T56 last year...I had asked for the shorter 5th and 6th gear to be installed.....but thats another story.
Its stock Camaro 5th and 6th now, 0.74 and 0.5
