There is a sizing and layout selector at bellintercoolers.com that can help you visualize a unit for your setup. My last 2 Vortechs I set up with A2A intercoolers, so anything is do-able. They aren't F-bods though.

Do you want to put a front mount intercooler on your car? There isn't much room to work with, but it is do-able. If you want to keep stuff like the battery in the stock location, the Vortech aftercooler is the way you want to go.

2001WS6Vert has, or did have Vortech done up with a fmic. But then again, he had a T-Trim and now a YSi on his car.

I run an OBX 4" intercooler and run the 3" pipes through the hole under the battery (did not cut the car). There is room for a little PC925 battery next to the tubing. I don't recommend a FMIC with a G-trim because I lost 3 lbs. boost with a T-trim. The G doesn't make enough air flow to afford to loose any.

I dont believe they offer one for a ls1. The aftercooler will work better on your car than the intercooler.

Why cause you will lose about 2 psi will all that extra piping and that G trim loses its breath fast cause its only rated at 575 hp.

Upgrade to a T trim or Ysi then do the front mount.

the aftercooler will work better in traffic and keep the iat's down. You can relocate the battery to the rear and stick a bigger ice box to stick a 1 gallon cell in there to put ice cold water/ice cubes when you run it at the strip.

i did a vortech ysi on a 2002 t/a with a huge front mount, it will fit with minor trimming to the nose. i did move the battery to right in front of where the front tire is, behind the bumper cover, it was all done with 3.5" aluminum tubing
