Red face OKAy guys what am i doing wrong! No boost on my gauge!

IS there something ia m doing wrong? I am not getting any boost reading(?) I attached the vacuum at the passenger side check valve and tee d it then ran the line under the cowl to another tee where the line comes from the Proflow ( made sure its not backwards) and then to the boost gauge inside the car. see pics--Thanks---Alan

pull the line from the boost gauge and put your finger on the end of it. Start it and feel if there's actually vacuum. If not, you pinched a line or broke it open, or something. If there is, then check your gauge itself. Put a hose on it and blow into it.

Also check those plastic T's. They break/crack easily.

edit: Check valve? wait a minute... you're not hooking it up to the pvc vent line are you?

Yeah make sure its not crushed or cracked anywhere. I T'd mine off of the ventilation vacuum port that comes off the passengers side of the brake booster vacuum fitting on the back of the intake manifold. Might try switching your source to there.

well i hooked it to the check valve on the passenger side. in the procharger instructions it says to hook that to the check valve along with the FMU(?), which the FMU is not included in this kit. But the gauge is reading 18 ish vacuum at idle tho. just no boost when i rev it up. i would rev it to 4 grand and the needle on the boost gauge only goes down to about 5 to 10 on the vacuum, but no boost at all.

when i twist the throttle body and rev from the front of the car i can see the procharger box pressurize with air so i know that there must be some boost.

You're fine man. You should feel/hear the car beginning to pull harder and when the throttle is released you'll hear the air escape your BOV (whatever you procharger guys call it - BPV?)

Wait a minute... You can't hook to a check valve. The check valve will only flow in one direction... ie: vacuum in this case. When it's building boost, the check valve closes.
Find a manifold vacuum line.

I knew something was wrong with that whole "check valve" thing.

You are able to test gauges or wastegates by hooking them up to a compressor. =)
