Default engine combo

i have a 6.0 block that i want to build up with turbos for my car. i was wondering if it would be better to leave the stock crank and rod in it or move up to the 4 inch stroke and the 6.125 rods. i have been told both ways that i can make more power with the longer stroke and was also told that it would be better to go with the stock stroke because it will turn more RPM. also was wondering i it is worth it or even possible to do the stock stroke crank with the longer rods. all of your insite will be put to good use. thanks

Either way has its own advantages. The stock crank will help with faster spool times on turbos. The longer crank will produce more low end torque than the stock one. Personally I would go with the 4.0" crank.

that sounds good. with a 4 inch stroke i would have to use the 6.125 rods so i dont pull the piston to far out of the bore at the bottom. what heads and turbo's are the best with a stroked 6.9L set up.

thanks again
