GM6 Turbo from diesel....Cheap FI? I noticed a turbo diesel in a 98 dually the other day in the junkyard. Just curious if this turbo would be cost effective FI. My second question would be what kind of boost can I expect from this turbo? Background info: LQ4/LQ9 dropped into a 73 camaro backed by a th350. Thanks.

My friend has a turbo off of a semi in his car. It ran 10.96 at 138 the first time out. It's a95 mustang with a 370, stock 317 heads, and a TH400 no brake with a 1900 stall.

Boost doesn't matter it's just a number of the amount of resistance that is in the intake. He is saying that the turbo will not put out enough air for the motor.
