Default here is my project

just wanted to say hey to everyone and introduce myself. i am dave and am planning a LS swap into a 70 Monte Carlo. i am planing a turbo set up and if i can swing it a twin turbo set up. it will get a 4L60E trans and i will be building up a 12 bolt for it. i got the car last year and it did not have the original engine and the one that was in it was rusted up. from the build date on the body tag it is the oldest one in the country that we can find so far. it was built the first week of August 1969. we are thinking it was built for the gm show that they used to have here in Flint Mi that they would show all of there new models for the next year. it was either that or the proving grounds. the car is real clean and needs virtually no body work. bump out a few dents and shoot it with some paint. well thanks for letting me bore you with my story.

one thing i am wondering about is if i build my motor iron block 6.oL with a 4" stroke crank and L92 heads. it will be a low compression engine. will it run ok till i get the turbo set up on it or should i do a 5.3L or something to get it on the road.

your best bet.....is a take out 6.0 enjoy the car a bit, get the rest straightened out, then make changes for power.
