Awesome stuff TJ !!!

A properly tuned turbo motor running good race fuel is always going to be much more reliable than a high compression/nitrous setup.
It is amazing how much HP these LS engines will take.
I can't wait to fire up my twin s366's in the coming weeks....
Of course, I have custom pistons, rods, valves, and a bigger cam so I will probably blow the friggen thing up! LOL !!!!
If I do, it will get a 100K 6.0L pull out next....

I was going to spend bucks on forged rods and pistons for the LS1, but maybe I should just get one of these truck motors and be done with it?

Wow very impressive. Does the LQ9 use stronger pistons and rods than the LS1?

Yes the rods are different, much like the LS2 with floaters.

Ive read in a couple places that the LQ4 and LQ9's had different rods but then I read elsewere that they are the same rod and crank with just different pistons!? are they infact the same crank and rod?
