Default turbo gearing

I have 4.10 gears in my car right now and I have a lq4 turbo in my camaro not quite done yet but would it be better if I got 373, 342, or leave the 410 it's an auto and most of the time going to have 17 inch drag radials

3.08s, 3.23s, 3.42 or 3.55s are what you want. These make the engine work harder which builds boost quicker. 4.10's suck for a turbo car.

Look at turbo Buicks - even the fastest stock suspension cars still use stock ratio 3.42 gears. Turbos build so much low end power, you don't need a low gear set like a 4.10.

I'm looking at possibly changing my ratios slightly. My A/R on my turbos is getting cranked up from a .63 to a .86.

I run a stock 3.42 cog, I'm looking to turn it down to a 3.33 or 3.23 to help the spool I'll be losing. Figure high 600's at the tire on pump and 850+ to the ground on race gas. I wonder the ratio change will be worth it or not.

Had 4.10's with a 6 in my 99 TA I had. Didn't build boost on the *** mount until like 3rd gear... could get a couple lbs in 1st, like 4 in 2nd, and could get 8 in 3rd.

Damn that's bad, did you ever try a diff gear in it, have headers? Was spooling the base T60 by 2400rpm and a GT70 by 2500rpm boosting nicely with both by 2800 and 3000 on a stock M6 car with MAC Y with 60lb motorons.
