98 motor with MLS gasket? anyone personally done it?

Default 98 motor with MLS gasket? anyone personally done it?

my headgaskets on my motor went out. its a 98 spec motor. with 98 heads

has anyone PERSONALLY** put MLS gaskets on a 98 head/block combo ? i hear about the notch this notch that. but i think its just people regurgitating information instead of personally tried and true done it before.

Me, I had my buddys shop weld up the notchs so we could get a perfect seal. My stock 806's need to have this done to get a proper seal. Theres a reason 97-98 graphite LS1 head gaskets are side specific. Each side is cut for the notch

Running them without welding up the notches will result in coolant seeping out from the notchs when you push it...
