Default AEM UEGO Wideband

Does anyone have some good install notes for the AEM Wideband? This is for a C5.

Thanks!

Just finished the install this morning on my F-body. Very easy. Installled in a dual pillar. Used an add-a-fuse to the gauge fuse(inside fuse box) for switched 12v power. Grounded in a point that was already there on the pillar(former gauge). Trimmed grommet on drivers side compartment and ran 02 wire through it. Screwed in o2 wideband into bung. Wideband 02 bung was already there from a former dyno tune.

Do you run a MAF or SD tune?

Is it open and closed loop? Is the 02 used for anything?

It does have both loops. That last question is a good one. Gonna have to check with the tuner on that one.

the AEM o2's (bosch) get destroyed pretty quick if you use leaded gas. the FJO widebands that use the NTK sensor last A LOT longer

Do you have to get an "AEM Bosch" replacement 02 sensor? Or can you get any sensor?

the AEM, Innovate, and PLX i believe only work with the Bosch sensor. I think the only wideband that uses the NTK is FJO and the ghetto NGK one..
