Help me choose between these cams for a Blown f-body
I currently have a D1 kit with the twin 4.5" intercoolers. Eventually I plan to build a forged 346 and keep it at 10:1 compression on 105 octane pump gas.
Im trying to understand how the following grinds would act and what kind of power they would produce. Can you tell me how each of these would compare as far as lope, peak power, mid range, etc.? What about type of lobe(XE vs XER)? Can you tell me which cam would be better for a street car spinning to about 6600rpm max and why?
I'm looking to the cam experts and those with experience with different cams in blower cars. I know Slowhawk and Patrick would have some good insite.
These are the cams I'm thinking about
220/228 .564/.571 115+2 XE - PatrickG blower cam
220/228 .564/.571 114+2 XE
220/228 .564/.571 114+4 XE - Nemesis blower cam
220/228 .581/.588 112+0 XER
220/228 .581/.588 114+2 XER
220/228 .581/.588 114+4 XER

x2 on the EPP cam for a SC setup. My friend Ricky has one. Not too hard to tune and a nasty sounding idle is a bonus Car made pretty impressive power w/ the cam, LQ9 heads, and a slipping SC belt producin 5-6PSI.

Thanks for all the help guys...... I know Bob's(EPP) cam is proven but regardless how well it sounds or what kind of power it makes, I don't want a cam that big in my 346, hence why I listed 220ish cams.

Patrick's cam's have proven them selves in the past. We have seen a few that made exelent hp even under boost. One customer did 500rwhp on 4psi with a 226/230 113 from him as well.
