Default new to boost: bypass valve, water injection required?

LT-1 street mostly, some strip
355 forged and custom JE pistons
8.5:1
Trick Flow heads
24x/25x@.050, mid .5xx" lift cam
F1 Procharger
10psi boost (claimed by owner)
I don't have the car yet so can't answer much more -
Still on the PCM, ThunderRacing tuned it after it ran 11.30 on a rough tune with this set up.
I see an inline bypass Procharger PC-AV005A-001 sells under 200 bucks
Can anyone explain the function, show a pic and where it installs?
Same with water injection - fairly cheap kits - required for 93 octane?
If I go to 15psi - what will I NEED to have?
thanks!
