You're going to have some boost creep issues with the way your gate is mounted. I learned that the hard way. Looks good though!

yea the angle of the wastegate is not optimal, but the fabrication skills are very good!

I used a flange off a 95 toyota avalon catalytic converter, its very similar to the C6 flange except the toyota uses a flat washer style gasket & the C6 uses a steel o-ring. It seals up well.

The waste gate needs to be mounted in such a way that it is feed (pressurized by both runs of the Charge pipe. The way you have it is getting pressureized by only one side of the charge pipe. You could put it right at the intersection of the merge and then make a quick 90* turn to move the gate for clearance.

Thanks, I thought of that & it does get pressure from both sides I would think. I positioned it high enough up so it would be after the merge transition, the merge is very long. The fact that I tapped into the side though I'm not sure if it will affect it, what do you think?

The posistion + the down ward angle of the gate is the issue. The gate needs to be horizontal with or upswept with the direction of airflow for optimum effect.

Thanks I'm just gonna bite the bullett and fill graft in a plate, block off the old spot and relocate it to the center. I dont want any problems and really appreciate you guys bringing that to my attention.
