Default New best 60 foots :)

Well I dont make much power like the big guys so I try to use all I got the best I can. I had two new best 60 foots today, 3600' or so DA, 1.234 and 1.241. 3430lbs raceweight.

Ran a 9.13 @ 131 was slamming on the brakes at 800 feet, London KY is not really a 1/4 mile track (very short shutdown) but they didnt set the clocks back to 1/8 mile after their street car race and its always interesting to see what it runs in the 1/4 when I'm not running the 1/4 lol.

Except for some new wheels I really havent changed anything in a while, just waiting for some cooler weather and a lower altitude track to see if I can beat the old 346 with the newer 365

Dont know when the vid will work but there it is, nothing exciting but its a car video..

Great 60ft Kevin very nice.

and great ET For slamming the brakes at 800 feet.
Do you think if you didnt hit the brake this pass will be a new best for you since the 60 ft is awesome.????

Nice 60' - 1.24... You need to get to a 1/4 track that can handle you. Would love to see what it could do running it all the way through. Congrats.

Killer 60 Kevin. I'm going to hire you to get my ride back into the 1.30's.

You're going to fly in cooler weather.

Na, if I had 300 more HP and the same 60' then it would be awesome.

A 5.74 in the 1/8 is a 8.99-9.05 so it wouldnt have been a new best, but hopefully when its 60* for a high + a 500' elevation track + a little smaller blower pulley and I think I can squeak an 8.80 in. I'd be happy with that considering the car is 100lbs heavier and I really didnt change that much except ad 18 cubic inches.

You on slicks or radials? It would be interesting to test drag radials if your on slicks, see if you can gain any MPH up top. Awesome 60's.

It has more, but with a cheapo intercooler I have to wait for better weather to make more power.

Sometimes it goes left, sometimes it goes right. I have tried to fix it but unless I have someone lining me up its hard to get the car staged straight every time and I usually correct too far in the wrong direction. I tend to point this car to the left for some reason, so I change everything and then then the car goes right when I stage it straight. Cant win

I have no interest in radials to be honest, they dont work too well at the local tracks.
