Default Turbo question

Is the turbo trim the size of the turbo? For instance, if the turbo is referred to as being a 76mm turbo is the turbo a 76 trim turbo? If not, how is the size of the turbo determined then?

No, trim is ratio between inducer and exducer of a certain wheel.

the size of a turbo is the measure of the exducer, as far as trim, it is simply a ratio/ percentage between the inducer and exducer of a compressor wheel. (like "DRTURBO" said). But don't forget the size of your compressor cover, turbine wheel, and turbine housing to properly choose the right turbo. What is it used for, do you want lag, are you looking for MAXIMUM POWER or just a quick street car.
