How many guys out there use nitrous on there FI car? I plan on using a plate kit on my car to help it 60ft and am wondering what kind of results I will see.

Well ummm.. what are the details of your set up? NO2 and boost on a v8 is a little wild.

Nothing special, 347 with 8-8-1 compression and a th400 with a trans brake, Turbonetics gtm-78mm. I want the car to 60ft in the 1.3 1.4 range.

Hey projectcam
I am a dealer for NANO (nitrogen assisted NO2). If you are going to run spray on a FI car I would suggest using it.

We just tested a Nano system at the shop last week on a KB 2.8 car. On the exact same setup, same pill....it picked up 70 rwhp. Thats going from 700 rwhp to 770 rwhp on 1 stage. I was impressed to say the least!

Project Cam My truck will be a good reference for you.

370 Cube
76MM turbo Remote mounted
3000RPM converter and a FOOT BRAKE

Truck will only build about 2-3PSI on the foot brake before it wants to start sliding the front tires.

I use the NX boost referenced controller and usually spray a 100 until 6psi.

Sixty foots no bottle 1.7
Sixty foot on 100 1.51

Recently I started runing a 50 hit the whole track
went from 10.44@134 consistantly only sprayin till 6lbs boost.
to 9.97@138 with only a 50 shot.

I also have sprayed a 75 shot and went 143 mph with no changes in boost level which is 13lbs.

Hope this will help you!

I have been thinking about put a small 75-100 shot on mine for the rest of the season. I'm getting close to the limit of my intercooler and plan to switch to a liquid to air. How much nitrous is needed to cool down the intake change on a car making 1200fwhp? I just want it to cool down the intake.

I was spraying a 150 from 2800rpm till 6psi. It was a little much for my suspension setup though.

I'm considering running nitrous when I get my turbo build together. I was thinking about making my purge valve dual purpose as a intercooler sprayer.

Anyone done this?
