Default Recommend me a lumpy idle turbo cam

Ok guys, just as the title says. I'm looking for a turbo cam with a nice lumpy idle, what would be the best.

In my opinion...

Not recommended with your current setup due to high turbine back pressure. STS systems like stock or camshafts with little overlap...

If you changed your combo and turbo to achieve, or get close to a 1:1 boost to back pressure ratio you could run a more conventional N/A camshaft and have some lope...

But keep in mind, For a street car with a true 1:1 pressure ratio you will loose response and quick spool in favor of higher HP numbers. Not necessarily good for street use but great for the strip.

Bob, about how much HP & torque does the cam alone with a turbo yield? I will need dual valve springs right?

Dual valve springs are a must with a .600 lift or higher...definitely with an FI application.

That is a tough question to answer, as there are a lot of variables involved. One guy recently added our cam to his N/A car, as he wants to add forced induction next year, and he picked up 41 rwhp.

The Patriot Gold valvesprings are normally what we use with our cam. Bob
