Default Comp. Ratio for this boost application...

What compression would you run.
I am going to build a 408 to run NA until i can run boost. I want to run up to 20-22 lbs of boost when all said and done. I plan on running on E80/E85. What compression would you build the motor for 9.0?

Turbo or supercharger? This will make a difference in what you want to have the compression ratio at. Bob

9.0 would be pretty good I think especially on e85 stuff is the HOTNESS for boosted engines!! Could likely even go 9.5 on e85. 8.5 seems more for pump gas and bigger boost. I went 9.5 but don't plan on much past 15psi.
