Default EPP blower cam idle vacuum ?

For you guys running the EPP blower cam 232/240 115lsa in 402-408 engines what are you seeing for idle vacuum (MAP kpa) and vacuum (MAP kpa) in gear at around 850-900 RPM.

I am fighting a surge when I put the car in gear and have noticed only about 9" HG of manifold vacuum. Didn't know if this was the norm for this grind or not.

Also will the Procharger surge valve (internal bypass) have any bearing on this?

Well it depends on what you have the IAC opening for the in gear position, and also how much load the stall is putting on the motor.

For a stick car, at idle, it depends on the motor size and also rpm, but usualy anywhere from 13in to 9in. I wouldn't worry about it, if your really concerned, check for a vac leak but thats only if its really low vac.
