Default Anyone find the hp limit on a dual walbro setup using E85?

Like the title says. I haven 't seen too many supercharged guys max out the dual walbro setup on gas. I'm thinking of going e85 on my lt4 ysi setup. I'm curious if it'll be enough pump for 750 rwhp through a 700r4. I guess there's always boost a pumps if it isn't!

I have the twin pump setup up bigger lines aem fuel rails and a boost reference reg, with 60lb injectors. Ran out of fuel on e85 made 581hp and 596lb. Car starting leaning out at 5000rpm. Next year I am going to upgrade to 95lb injectors and should be good for over 700 hp. 11lbs of boost and this was also on a dynamics dyno so the numbers are a litte low compared to a dynojet.

so did you still have plenty of pump and just ran out of injectors? What base fuel pressure were you using and were you stepping it up at a 1 to 1 ratio?

I am also running 60's currently.

Not for sure what pressure my tuner set it all up I never did ask him, I just keep an eye on my wideband to make sure its ok. I know I did have enough pressure just ran out of injector. He has done a few other cars on e85 and said he usually picks up another 70 to 80hp from pump gas.

Nice. That's what I'm looking for as far as hp increase. Who's making the 95lb injectors now? Those would be perfect but I'm sure they'll be a bit expensive.

alot of companies make the injectors but you have to buy a drive box for the bigger injectors like the 95lbs. So you will somewhere around 700 to $800 for big injectors.

For a minute I thought they were high impedance 95's. Yeah, I'll need to get a driver box. Are there any made that will plug right in for my corvette or with minor splicing? I don't know anything about the driver boxes since I thought I'd be good with 60's.

edit.... I just checked the racetronix site and its $500 for the driver and harness. The 79lb injectors are starting to look like a good deal! They're about 33% larger than my 60's and although expensive(compared to my 60's), aren't crazy expensive and I can get by without an injector driver.

A customer of mine recently put down 730rwhp on one of my dual pump setups on E85 with stable fuel pressure & a few others over 700rwhp. I have not seen the limits of these with E85 yet.

They will definitely outflow a set of 60# injectors.

The 581RWHP above is not a kit that I've had any involvement in so I cannot say for sure, but I would say it is injector limited.

thanks for the input. I'll probably toss some 79's on there and let her rip.

I'm running Lonnies dual pump set-up on E85 with nitrous. Set-up is in the 7xxRWHP range and no drop in pressure or lean upon activation of nitrous.

LPA's set-up is really nice. Easy to install and the customer service is top notch.

Just wondering what the price were on the 79lb injectors. I Don't plan on running anymore boost than I do now just like to have enough fuel up high. Everyone said 60lb injectors on e85 would max out about 600rwhp or a little more. I'm hoping to be about 630hp so those should work out just fine, did not know about them.

I saw them on their website (racetronix) for $75 an injector. I don't know if they can be had cheaper, but at the worst it'll cost $600 for 8. I wonder if they ever do group buys.
