Default Will this fuel pump work

Hi guys Im doing a LS1 engine swap and trying to figure out if the stock fuel pump is adequate. The car will be a H/C and intake and hope to get >400 hp. I could get a Walbro but it will be alot of work to get it installed into the cars fuel pump module. Here are the specs on the fuel pump

Installation:In-Tank
Operating Mode:electric Power
consumption max.:12.0
Volume flow (l/h):140
Connections:1
Pressure (bar):5.0
Pressure (PSI):72.5
Voltage:12.0 V

Will the flow rate be adequate or should I just upgrade now.Any info is welcome

140 litres per hour??? thats about 280 pounds of fuel per hour.. rough estimating 2 pounds of gasoline per litre...

if you arent running forced índuction then your BSFC will be about 0.5 lb/(hp·h)

on a H/C/I ls1 you are pushing 500 crank hp so you need about 250 lph,

it sounds right on the money

if its 140lph (pounds per hour... then you are short about 200 Hp worth of fuel)

Tanks uses a Walbro 255lph pump as far as I know. If it is a 140liter per hour pump I would say you need more fuel than that.

Thanks for the info guys. Nate, its not a Tanks inc pump. Maybe you are referring to the pump I used in my last swap.

What made me think I could use this pump is the fact that the stock LS1 pump is rated at 58 psi and ~35 GPH (132lph). I had hoped I would not have to mod the module but looks like I will be going with the Walbro.

My other issue is the pump exit fitting size. It is 5/16 which then hooks up to a 3/8 fuel line. Should I be concerned about such a small exit fitting? In the pic below you can see how small the supply fitting is. (the fitting on the white cover)
