any one knows where can i find a fuel tank cap with lock and a key for my 2000 LS1 camaro? so that i'm restful no one will play with my fuel tank.

I picked mine up at the auto parts. The brand is Stant. Comes with two keys.

is your f-body an LT1 f-body?

i found a fuel tank cap with lock and 2 keys from AC Delco and it only worked with my previous LT1 camaro and with my current 1996 LT1 caprice impala SS but it will not work with my 2000 LS1 camaro?

Yes, it is a 97, and they are not the same. According to Stant's on-line catalog, the following numbers apply:
1997 - 10594
2000 - 10506
