Angry Racetronix Fuel Pump......

Ok here's the deal me and my father both run the racetronix fuel pumps but the problem is he get's WAY more fuel pressure then i do.....His car at idle put's out 60-62psi now my car at idle only puts out about 54-56psi and at WOT he's at about 56psi-58psi and mine under WOT drops down to about 48-49psi.....Is there anyway of testing the pump or checking anything to solve this problem i just dont like the low pressure when im spraying the car and would rather try a quik check/fix instead......

Thanks in advance......

To fix it you could run a vacuum referenced regulator.

Perhaps a silly question, but are you both running the Racetronix (or similar) harness? Yours sounds like a voltage/current drop at WOT, which is what I would check next.

i you tried your fathers sender, it also contains the fuel pressure regulator.
This should make your car flow the same as his.

In this case, you either have a voltage problem or your gauge is not correct.
Keep this in mind as gauges are not as accurate as people often think they are.

I'll look into that as well i might just say f*ck it and get a new pump......

And LonniesPerformance i already switched gauges with my fathers gauge and still got the same 56psi @ idle......

Somtehing does not add up.... you change fuel buckets with another car, so in essence you swapped the regulator & pump together.

The only thing left is voltage or the gauge.
Did you check voltage at the pump?

If you swapped gauges, was it electronic & did you also swap the sender?
