Vic Jr guys, what do you do with the cannister purge valve?

Default Vic Jr guys, what do you do with the cannister purge valve?

I just realized that there is no adapter on the vic jr for it. Any ideas?

Here is what I did on my truck. I have run it like this for about 2 years. I used an aluminum vacuum manifold and drilled out a port for the purge and drilled and tapped it for the retaining bolts. The end of the vacuum manifold has a 3/8" fitting that gets plumbed to the back of the intake for its vacuum source. I used tubing from a truck shop for air brakes to connect the Purge canister to the Purge solenoid.

Does anybody just tap the elbow or manifold it self and install a quick connect on it? Or, does anyone just eliminate the purge valve? Does it matter if its actually there?
