Cant pump gas

Default Cant pump gas

hey, i have a 2000 ta, and the past two days ive gone to get gas, it just spills right back out. My check gauges light is on, and i need gas. I just cant put it in. I tried searching, but came up empty... Please help me figgure out what the problem is

someone may have stuck somthing down the fill neck

could also be a venting problem

if you are in a jam to put gas in try unhooking the evap line to the purge valve at the intake manifold, or even go under the car and unhook where it goes over the axle.. unhooking pretty much any of the connections will give a temporary vent

also you can try not holding the nozzle up against the car, dont let the little splash guard seal against the opening.

exactly what is wrong.. i dont know.
