Default Does the 97 Racetronix pump have the venturi system?

I have read up on the system and it seems mostly dedicated to the 99-02 models. 98s, I can't tell. I have read the info on the site, I have Searched through here, and no difinitive answer has appeared.
IIRC, my filter sock is on the outside of the bucket, with a check valve there to keep the fuel in the bucket, so perhaps the venturi is not required?
Thanks in advance.

The '97-'97 (all LT1's) & '98 LS1 does not have a venturi as the pumps are located toward the rear of the tank. The LT1's do incorporate a bucket to keep the pump submerged (for cooling).

The '99 up cars have a pickup arrangement where the venturi fills the bucket & the pump draws from the bucket.

Not in a proper manner, but that has not stopped others from trying.

I would recommend buying the proper components & doing it right the first time.
