Default Hot wire kit and a dead battery

Since I installed my hot wire kit my battery is being drained if I let the car sit for about two weeks. I also noticed my fuel gauge has a constant reading even with the key off. Anyone else bump into this???

Thanks in advance

Dave

Whos kit is it?

Something is likely wired incorrectly, as the gauge should not be permanently powered. Does everything else go off with the key?

We don't make a kit I sell Full Throttle, Caspers and Racetronix. What year car? Kinda odd as all are PnP.

Sorry, I should state a kit I purchased from Nasty Performance. As far as the maker I am not sure I will look later today. Sorry Nate...

As far as plug and play, that is why I dont understand the gauge staying charged and the battery draining.
