Exclamation Stock Fuel pump:Fuel guys come on in

What is the stock fuel pump good for hp wise?

I am gonna be upgrading to 42# injectors on an 02' cam only z, eventually h/c/.

What is a good aftermarket fuel pump to feed my needs of 450rwhp (529-562.5CHP) with 42# injectors that flow 50.

I was looking at the aeromotive pump/regulator combo, liked that it has a guage, also looking at magnafuel pump I think it was 140gph ballpark.

suggestions and advice from knowledgeable people is greatly appreciated as I need to order this stuff and gitterdun.

thank you very much guys for your help!!

sometimes I feel like this car is endless. can't believe I haven't even had it a year yet.

Respectfully,
RiceEaterZ.

Ummm, 140 gph is a lot. Most pumps are rated in liters per hour (lph).
You might look into the Racetronix 255lph combo; wiring harness and pump. It offers plenty of fuel to meet your demands, and the wiring harness can handle the extra current demanded by an aftermarket pump.
Sponsors such as Lonnie's Performance offer excellent service after the sale also.

Go to fuel systems. Looks like about $230 for the harness and PnP pump. (RX-F99-GSS340-FPKG-2)

ok, well I was in the land of "fine reading materials" and I double checked the flow on those 2 pumps, the aeromotive/regulator combo does flow 140GPH, and the magnafuel pump flows 275GPH free flow, Both support 750hp. still looking for something, **** is expensive.

Anyway, did some more digging and well...... Looks like a stock pump can handle about 400RWHP. Then it's time to upgrade.

been running my stock pump on my H/C lq9 w/ 36# FAST for a few years..no problems. I'm sure i'm maxxing it out though. Its the car on my sig pulling the wheels.

So unless you are putting a big shot on it, the stock pump is plenty for cam only

no nitrous yet shoulda done that first along with a turbo set up when I was all stock, I've already spent that much on the damn car 8K+ for "Show&Go",already 98% bolt ons *no UD pulley or thermo* Gonna have ported aftermarket heads in the future, then I'll prob. stop as thats about the limit for the trans and other stock parts *450-490rwhp* anyway, I got ahold of the guys at lonnies performance and Their racetronix kit that was reccomended by Mr. Koolaid *thx btw* is reputed to support app. 550rwhp, So I will be most likely going with that setup as well as 42# bosch flow matched injectors.

Thanks everyone for your input
