I have a stupid question, the outlet side of the pump goes to the fuel rails and the inlet side goes to the tank correct?

Scary!

Actually, you need a filter BEFORE the pump (70 mics) and a second one after. (10-25 mics)

Inlet is were the fuel comes into the pump, outlet is were it pushes it out.
