Default will high duty cycle hurt power?

i was curious if a higher than recommended duty cycle with injectors would hurt your power? i know you can have like a 90% duty cycle and still pull a good air fuel ratio all the way through the powerband. would this hurt the power level when compared to larger injectors that bring the duty cycle down to 80%, for example?

90% won't hurt anything, it is only at WOT that you would ever see it, how long do you hold it at WOT? Nothing to worry about.

You'll be fine at 90% man. It's when you get up in the 100%+ that you need to think about upping your injector. Our cars aren't as critical to keep the duty cycle's in a specific range as say a diesel, where the entire combustion process hinges on the firing of the injector. Ideally, however, you want to get as much fuel out as possible in a given amount of time to give it the maximum time to atomize. When you start pushing your duty cycle you are still spraying later into the cycle and while this necessarily won't hurt anything (As long as you don't push it too long) it's not ideal for power output.

My car run at 95-96% with 60s and 70psi of fuel pressure right now. its making the power I expect it to make, just because its commanded by the PCM doesnt mean it really is. Thats why people can see over 100% and still get some adjustability.

I have some of the new seimans 80s here I'm going to try soon just to make me feel better looking at the logs, I dont expect the car to make any more power though.
