Default I have one little bug with the new fuel system....HELP!!!

I switched out the stock fuel system for a boost referenced setup. So here is what I got. Sumped tank, to Aeromotive filter, to magnafuel 4301 pump(mounted below the sump w/ less than a foot of hose), to another filter, passenger side front of rail, to crossover, to BRFPR on the front of driver's side rail, to stock feedline as return, to the tank. Intank FPR and pumps have both been removed.

My problem-When I go to start the car, I turn on the pump (switch on the dash) and give it a second to fill the lines. Then I turn the key. Sometimes it'll turn over 1 or 2 times and fire right up but other times it will crank and crank and not catch. Then if I stop cranking and then start again, it'll pop as if it were too rich. The work around that I have been using is that I turn on the pump, start cranking and if it wont fire, I turn the pump off until it catches and then I turn it back on and it's all good. Once it's running, it runs flawlessly. I do not have the little canister hooked up in the front that ties to either the tank or that canister filter thing in the driver's side rear quarter panel.

You may be getting excessive pressure/vacuum in the tank since you don't have the canister hooked up.

Start issue change depending on temperature? Or after wide temp swings?

How do you vent it without hooking that canister up?

Aeromotive boost ref reg. I set it at 58psi w/o the boost/vacum ref hooked up. I see about about 48 psi at idle with it hooked up.

The stock Vent system is the best way to vent your tank. I would reinstall it if you are running a factory tank. If not you need a vent line higher than the tank filler with a loop in the hose and a catch can of sorts at the top.
