Default Fuel system questions

I am about ready to start my 383 build and plan on adding a D1 or F1 down the road with around 18-20 PSI. Right now the fuel system is stock besides a 255 in tank pump and 36lb injectors.

I plan on going at least 60's when I get the blower on and was just wondering what else you guys are needing to do to your fuel system to keep up with that much boost?

It's on a LT1 btw

Make sure you use Teflon lined fuel hose, as quite a few of us have started to develop problems with the rubber deteriorating in braided hose, plus the fuel leeches out through it. I'm ready to go back to using alum fuel line with small sections of hose at the ends. It is a lot lighter and much less money. Bob

How about in tank pumps? I know I should run a dual setup, but anythign else? The fuel rails will most likely be Edelbrock units since I am going to run a Victor E

Depends, I am not sure exactly where your power level will fall, but seems to be about to the edge of what the stock 3/8ths line can flow. I would look into doing the dual set up, and -8 all the way up, and either use the stock 3/8ths line for the return, or add another -8 or -6 line for the return. Then again, you might run out of injector before you max out your stock fuel line.
